What's What

Beard Oil vs. Beard Balm

What's the difference?

Beard Oil is a liquid and is used more for the health and maintenance of your beard and skin.

Beard Balm is a solid which when warmed up becomes almost like a pomade. While balm is also good for the health and maintenance of your beard, with the inclusion of the bees wax it helps to control and style your beard.

How To

Beard Oil

Warm a few drops in your hands and work into your beard. Run a comb (wooden comb is recommended) through it to work the oil all the way down to the skin.

Beard Balm

Warm a small amount of balm between your hands until there are no more lumps and apply to your beard. Use your hands or a comb (wooden comb is recommended) to style.

Tip: The amount of balm needed will depend on how big your beard is. If you find your beard still feels dry after applying, you need to use more. If it's slimy and there's lots of balm left over on your hands, you've used too much.
